“After talking about a recent psoriasis outbreak I had had, Hannah kindly
suggested I use her Dermalux LED while having another treatment, to see if it reduced the patches on my stomach. We repeated the treatment a few more times and my stomach is now completely clear! I was beginning to feel like it wouldn’t go away so this has given me hope for the rest of the areas still affected.”

What does Dermalux LED treat?
Acne
Redness
Psoriasis
Dull skin
Wound healing
Musculoskeletal pain
Post-treatment skin redness and bruising
How many sessions do I need?
Patients often love a single dermalux treatment after an in-clinic treatment as it can help to minimise any irritation, bruising and downtime. A single treatment can give the skin a beautiful radiance on the day/day before of an event.
An intensive course of 10 treatments, taken 2-5 times per week is recommended to treat skin conditions such as acne or psoriasis.
What wavelengths of light do I need?
Dermalux Blue 415bm – best for acne
Dermalux Red 633nm – speeds cell renewal, boosts collagen
Dermalux Near Infrared 830nm – Triggers healing and reduce pigmentation
Combination – Dr Hannah can select a combination of the above dependent on your needs.
How does the Dermalux compare to home LED light masks?
There has been a recent increase in the popularity of home LED light masks. While these devises can have a role in improving skin, we do not recommend them for the following reasons. We often find that they get used for a few weeks and then forgotten about in a draw! They do not offer the same number or quality of LED lights and therefore are not as powerful as the Dermalux device.
Can I hire the Dermalux Flex device?
Ask Dr Hannah about hiring the Dermalux Flex device for 2 weeks.
Is Dermalux LED light therapy right for me?
Dermalux is safe for almost everyone. It is safe for all skin types and for breast feeding mums.
Safety in pregnancy has not been established. Please talk to KinDRed doctors if you are pregnant.
Dermalux may not be appropriate if you suffer from light-induced headache, seizures, porphyria, lupus erythematosus, active cancer, albinism, eye disease or are taking medications that increase photosensitivity.
How much is the Dermalux LED light therapy?
20 minute add-on after another in-clinic treatment £30
30 minute stand alone session £50
10 x 30mins sessions (2-5 sessions per week) £300
