“I wanted to improve static lines and crepey skin on my forehead but I was wary of Botox as I wanted to keep my expression. Dr Hannah recommended Redensity 1. I’m just part way into the initial course of treatment but it has already helped the skin hydration here, my skin looks smoother and plumper. I’m sure with the next treatment my results will be even better.”
faqs
What does Redensity 1 treat?
Redensity 1 will help to improve:
Skin laxity
Dull and dehydrated skin
Fine lines and wrinkles
Tired looking skin
How does Redensity 1 differ from Profhilo?
Redensity 1 and Profhilo are both “skin boosters” which aim to hydrate skin, give a glow and stimulate collage production.
Redensity 1 differs from Profhilo in the following ways:
-Redensity 1 can be used in the forehead and around the eyes whereas Profhilo has specific injection points on the cheeks/lower face or neck.
-Redensity 1 contains a lower concentration of hyaluronic acid but does contain extra ingredients to boost the skin including vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
-Redensity 1 contains local anaesthetic so some people find it a more comfortable treatment.
If you aren’t sure, Dr Hannah will assess your skin and make a recommendation at your consultation.
How many treatments do I need?
An initial course of three treatments, 3-4 weeks a part is recommended. A single booster treatment is advised every 4-6 months.
Is there anyone who shouldn’t have Redensity 1?
Redensity 1 is suitable for all skin types Fitzpatrick I – VI (light to dark).
It isn’t suitable for people with clotting/bleeding disorders, pregnant or breast feeding or those who are immunocompromised. Dr Hannah will make a medical assessment and determine your suitability.
How much does Redensity 1 cost?
The cost for the initial course of 3 treatments is £600, a single treatment is £250.
Is Redensity 1 the same as dermal filler?
No. Redensity 1 and dermal fillers are both made of hyaluronic acid but with Redensity 1, the HA is non-cross linked. This means it acts an intense moisturiser but does not give structure or volume like dermal fillers.
This means that your results will never look “unnatural” because Redensity1 is simply improving the health and appearance of your skin.
