Your treatment journey will start with a thorough medical consultation with Dr Hannah.

If the treatment is suitable for you, it will involve cleansing of the skin, temporary marking of the area and superficial injections into the skin.

This is a low risk procedure as it involves superficial injections in to the skin.

After your treatment, you will be emailed with detailed aftercare information so that you can refer to it at any time.

As a general guide, you should avoid the following after your treatment: touching the area or applying make-up for 4 hours, getting sweaty for 24 – 48 hours (eg. sauna, strenuous exercise), firm massage or pressure on the treated area for 48 hours and excessive alcohol for 24 hours.



How does “botox” help to reduce sweating?

Excessive sweating can severely affect a person’s quality of life. Botulinum toxin can be injected into the armpit skin and temporarily block the signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands.

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

Please attend the appointment with shaved armpits (men and women).

How many treatments will I need?

Usually, just one treatment is needed every 6 – 9 months.
